Today in Ukraine, people celebrate the International Children’s Day.

The future of our state and the entire world community depends on the happy and safe childhood of the younger generation. Every year on June 1, all over the world, events dedicated to children are held.

In Starobilsk city, today celebrations were held on the occasion of the holiday, attended by residents and guests of the city, public activists, representatives of charitable foundations, organizations and enterprises. The entertainment program was organized for the children, animators conducted interesting and funny games, in which both the small residents of Starobilsk district and adults took part.

The People’s Deputy of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Supervisory Council of LTSNU Vitalii Kurylo addressed the audience with the words of congratulations. Vitaly Semenovych focused on the actual problems of children and the importance of their protection.

On this day in the Park of Culture and Recreation all attractions were free of charge, and along the main alley the creative works of the little perpetrators of the holiday were presented. Military personnel also congratulated children, presented them balloons and toys.

The Center for Psychosocial Adaptation also joined the district celebrations. The institution’s specialists presented the children a good mood, positive emotions and incredible impressions. Aquagrim, drawing on asphalt, soap bubbles – these and other entertainments will be remembered for a long time by children and their parents. According to the head of the Student Social Service of our University E.G. Dorogavtseva, this holiday once again recalls the problem of protecting children and unites the society around such global issues.

The International Children’s Day is a holiday that brings together children and adults around the world. The solution of the actual problems of kids requires the cohesion of the entire world community.
