“Chernyanka-Futurum”

Students majoring in “Fine Arts” and “Decorative and Applied Arts” took part in the trans-regional social project “Chernyanka-Futurum”.
The event was organized by the NGO “Regional Development Agency of the Tavria Association of Territorial Communities” (Nova Kakhovka), Kherson State University, NGO “Youth Platform” (Lutsk) and “Coordination Center for Displaced Universities” (Kyiv). The project was supported by the British Council in Ukraine within the framework of the Active Citizens Program, the Department of Culture of the Kherson Regional State Administration, the Kakhovka District Council, and the Village Council of Chernyanka village.
The following students and master students joined the creative delegation of our University: Ivan Podgainy, Nazar Maistruk, Zhanna Abel, Yuri Chekh, Bohdan Fesenko, Oleksandr Nedozhdiy, Elina Zakabluk, and Anastasia Stepanenko. Arriving on the territory of the famous “Gilea” of David Burliuk (Chernyanka village), the students in their creative works tried to realize the tasks of this project – to create their own constructive vision of the new future of our country, write a kind of manifesto as an appeal to the current political and economic elite of Ukraine, creatively express themselves, exchange experience and improve skills in painting and drawing in the open air on the territory of ancient Tavrida. The expert commission selected the best works that were included in the final exhibition, which took place in the column hall of the Chateau of Prince Trubetskoi. The organizers of the event mentioned the creative potential of students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, presented them gratitude and certificates of participation, gifts and souvenirs for memory.
