All-Ukrainian Conference

At the end of May, the XV All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Actual Problems of Biology and Medicine” was held at the University.

On May 25 – 26, within the framework of the Days of Science – 2017 Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hosted the XV All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Actual Problems of Biology and Medicine”. The co-organizers of this event were Luhansk State Medical University (Rubizhne city), Sumy State A.S. Makarenko Pedagogical University and the Bohdan Khmelnitsky National University of Cherkassy. The Department of Anatomy, Human and Animal Physiology and the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Human Health conducted the Conference.

The Conference was held in a mixed-in-person correspondence format and was devoted to presenting the results of studies of morphofunctional mechanisms of adaptation of the human body to the action of endogenous and exogenous environmental factors, as well as other topical issues of experimental biology and medicine. The event was attended by leading scientists of Ukraine and other countries, in particular the Bogomolets Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv), Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Bogomolets National Medical University (Kyiv), Zaporizhzhia National University, Kharkiv National Medical University, Bukovina State Medical University (Chernivtsi), the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky (Odesa), Vinnytsia National Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov, State Institution “Rivne Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”, SRC “Human Ecology and Public Health Protection” of the National University “Ostroh Academy”, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ivano-Frankivsk city), Republican Unitary Enterprise “Scientific and Practical Center of Hygiene” (Minsk, Republic of Belarus), Belarusian State Medical University (Minsk, Republic of Belarus), Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov (Republic of Belarus) and other institutions.

As a result of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific papers “Topical Issues of Biology and Medicine”. The electronic version of the collection will be posted in the University’s repository and on the site of the Department of Anatomy, Human and Animal Physiology.
