Presentation of Youth Initiatives

The University hosted a presentation of youth initiatives in the framework of the project “School for young leaders: the ability and skills to build a civil society in the realities of a small city.”

Within the framework of the project “Ukrainian Regional Platform of Public Initiatives”, with the financial support of the European Union and with the assistance of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, the Luhansk Regional Public Organization “Public Initiative of Luhansk Region” and the Initiative Group “Public Education”, a presentation of youth initiatives “School for young leaders: the ability and skills to build a civil society in the realities of a small city” was organized.

The purpose of the presentation was to consolidate and verify the skills and skills that the youth formed during the School for Young Leaders, which lasted during March-April 2017.

During the presentation, 10 project proposals of the school’s participants for the development and improvement of the local community were listened to. Basically, it was the ideas of young people aimed at leisure and improvement of the city’s infrastructure. Also, participants drew attention to environmental problems and problems of a healthy lifestyle. During the presentation, a friendly atmosphere reigned, ideas were discussed, almost all of the participants gave comments and advice, as well as asked questions on the improvement of project proposals.

At the end of the event, certificates were awarded to the participants of the project “School for Young Leaders: Skills to Build a Civil Society in the Realities of a Small City”.
