The Minister of Education and Science Met with the Students of LNU

The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Kvit answered the main question about “LNR and DNR” diplomas during his meeting with students.

The Minister communicated with the students of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport of LNU on February 19 in the city of Kreminna of Luhansk region.

Serhii Myronovych met with the evacuated university administration, teachers and students. He told about important problems of education development in Ukraine and then answered students’ questions. The most popular among them was the following one: “Will Ukraine recognize diplomas of LNR and DNR?” The Minister answered with confidence: “No”. And then he added: “Also I think theses diplomas will not be recognized by Russia as well because this will decline the reputation of their higher educational establishments”.

LNU administration told about the visit of the Minister of Education and Science: “So far, the visit of Serhii Myronovych is a real indicator that our university works properly. Regardless of the city and location we managed to arrange educational process and worth level of education and today we are still popular university which is respected both in the All-Ukrainian educational space and in the world’s one”.

Visit program also included seeing educational building of one of the evacuated LNU Institutes. The Minister visited stadium, lecture halls and also attended the lessons in the sports complex.
