Days of Europe

The Days of Europe were marked in the Regional Center for Vocational Education of LTSNU. 

In order to understand the significance of the European integration processes for the future graduate of the vocational school, the possibilities for developing production and entrepreneurship in Ukraine, the development of the forms of the state structure of Ukraine and some European countries and acquaintance with Eueuropean international organizations and associations, the prospects for the development of our state through Eurointegration, the Days of  Europe were marked in the Regional Center of LTSNU.

Since 2003, on the third Saturday in May, Ukraine celebrated Europe Day in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 339/2003 of April 19, 2003. Celebrating this day is another opportunity for Ukrainian citizens to join European values. In 2017 the Day of Europe in Ukraine falls on May 20.

On the Day of Europe, residents of Ukraine celebrate a day of common values, a common history of all nations of the continent.

Within the framework of the celebration of the Days of Europe in Ukraine, a lesson-panorama “EURO-kaleidoscope of law” was held accompanied by a multimedia presentation “Eurointegration of Ukraine”, where students practiced the ability to assess events and processes taking place in Modern Ukraine and Europe, to distinguish between the forms of democracy in Europe, the importance of active participation of citizens in government, the ability to analyze social and political events.

A meeting of our students with Polish guests in the Central Regional Library was organized, where the exposition-acquaintance “Poland was distant and close” was prepared, a full-length excursion of Poland – its traditions, culture, education, tourism was presented.
