First Aid Courses

Students majoring in “Human Health” of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports passed training courses in first aid skills, organized by the Red Cross Society of Ukraine.

Students majoring in “Human Health” of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports have passed the certified courses of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine for training first aid. Duration of training – 12 hours. The theoretical part of the courses was devoted to general issues of human anatomy and physiology, management of emergency conditions and healthy lifestyle. Also, the fundamental principles and values ​​for the Red Cross and the legal aspects of first aid were examined.

In practice, the students practiced skills in moving the victims to a stable position, conducting cardiopulmonary resuscitation, stopping bleeding by applying a pressure bandage, immobilizing in various injuries.

Upon completion of the program, all students received the internationally recognized certificates.
