The seminar-training

LTSNU teachers, staff and students took part in the seminar-training “Prevention of Professional Burnout”.
The training was held at the Center for Psychosocial Adaptation. The event took place within the framework of the project “Psychosocial stabilization of victims of the conflict in Ukraine” with the support of the German Foreign Ministry, Malteser International and the Malta Assistance Service in Ukraine, which is implemented by the Psychological Crisis Service.
Professional burnout is a syndrome that develops against the backdrop of chronic stress and leads to the exhaustion of the emotional, energetic and personal resources of the working person. Prevention of stressful situations is a prerequisite for improving the efficiency of the individual, his harmonious development.
The seminar-training “Prevention of Professional Burnout” brought together teachers of the Department of Social Pedagogy and staff of LTSNU, practical psychologists from Starobilsk, Rubizhne and Kreminna. The lecturer of the event was honorary member of the Ukrainian Association of Psychoanalysis, Managing Partner of LaampaPsychology Serhii Ryasenko.
Within two days, the seminar participants discussed the features of professional burnout. The training consisted of a theoretical and a practical part, the speaker together with the attendees found out the causes and consequences of stress, the methods of psychodiagnostics of burnout.
At the end of the event, the participants examined the skills of applying the elements of the model’s purpose in working with post-traumatic stress reactions, using knowledge about Chomsky’s transformational linguistics for the formulation of anger and irritation, worldview problems associated with the professional work of employees of helping professions.
