Concert of students

A concert of LTSNU students majoring in “Orchestral string instruments” took place in the city of Poltava.

Recently in the Poltava Regional Library was held the concert of students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, specialization “Orchestral string instruments” including Lidia Shkarovskaya (violin, class of Prof. I.O. Stashevska) and Mykhailo Maksymov (contrabass, class of the teacher M.M. Fenev). Lidia and Mykhailo demonstrated a high level of performing skills and artistic interpretation of works, because they are laureates of the International Competition of Musicians “Fortissimo – 2016” in the city of Kharkiv.

The concert featured music by composers, classics, romantic composers and contemporary authors. Also concertmasters of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography N.I. Popovych and Z.G. Tsybulnik, who accompanied the solo students, participated in the event.

Chamber concerts held by the Institute of Culture and Arts in the hall of arts of the Poltava Regional Library have already become traditional and always take place with great interest and warm reception of admirers of musical art.
