“The Territory of the Great Game”

Students and staff of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences took part in the competition “The Territory of the Great Game.”

The event was held at the Starobilsk Children’s and Youth Library. The participants of the competition were: Evgenia Shevtsova – second-year student majoring in “History”, Serhii Orlyansky – second-year student majoring in “Social Work”, Iryna Borovenska – laboratory assistant of the Department of Political Science and Law.

A lot of positive things, laughter did not stop during the whole event; a small improvised assembly hall was packed to capacity. The talented people of the city of Starobilsk: famous bard Oleksandr Popov, modern dance studio “Chance” under the leadership of Maksym Lymansky (middle group), Kateryna Finiak performed.

The teams were clever, beautiful, erudite, unchained. Talents were off scale! The guys and girls gave the audience unforgettable moments of pleasure.

The boys’ team: Roman Panchenko – a real actor, an athlete; Yurii Rybianets – a handsome, intelligent, terrific artist; Anatolii Polonsky – a dancer, owner of sparkling humor; Serhii Orlyansky – a student, calm and focused, the youngest member of the team.

The girls’ team: Evgenia Shevtsova – a student who sings well; Yulia Sosenko – a person who draws beautiful; Iryna Borovenskaya – the most cheerful member of the team; Katerina Finyak, who all evening conquered the hearts of the audience with a magnificent voice.

The teams competed for the victory in various contests: “Guess the song by gestures”, “Reproduction of the famous painting”, “Come on, dance!”, “The thinnest waist”, etc. The boys and girls scored the same number of points.
