“Gifted Youth 2017”

The annual All-Ukrainian Festival Competition “Gifted Youth” was held among pupils and students, aimed at identifying and supporting young talents.
On April 29-30, the Festival-Contest was held at the Institute of Culture and Arts. This year the contest gathered almost 500 participants from seven regions of Ukraine: Luhansk, Donetsk, Poltava, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Sumy. Contestants competed in such nominations: “Musical Art”, “Choreography”, “Fine Art”, “Decorative and Applied Art”, “Cinematography, TV-Art”.
Grand Prix in the nomination “Musical Art” among pupils of art schools was taken by the instrumental duet (flute, piano) – Sofia Matvienko and Maksym Deinego from the Poltava Minor Academy of Arts. Among students of musical schools, the winner was guitarist Yuzyuk Emmanuil-Ioann from the Kharkiv Musical College named after B. Lyatoshinsky.
The Grand Prix in the nomination “Folk Choreography” was given to the dance group (the older age group) of the Vocal-Choreographic Ensemble “Zvezdnaya”, Poltava Secondary School of the І-ІІІ degrees No.7.
Grand Prix in the nomination “Decorative and Applied Art” was awarded to Anastasia Kresan from the Sumy Higher School of Arts and Culture named after D.S. Bortnyansky.
The awarding of the winners and performances of the laureates of the first prizes and the Grand Prix, whose skills and artistry aroused delight and violent emotions, took place at the Gala-concert.
