Regional Mountain Bike Championships

The Mountain Bike Championships among the strongest sportsmen of Luhansk region took place in the city of Kreminna.

Mountain bike is a race outside the road on mountain bikes. The first world championships in mountain bike races started in 1987.

Competitions were held on the rough terrain of picturesque Kreminna forests. Students and teachers of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” took part in organizing and holding the Championship.

The first-year student majoring in “Secondary education. Physical Culture” Serhii Kocherov (Institute of Physical Education and Sports) successfully performed in the team mountain bike race for men at a distance of 10 km and became the champion of the Luhansk region with the result of 24.36.

We congratulate the winner and wish him success higher achievements in sports!
