Academic scholarships of the President of Ukraine are assigned to students of the University.

Academic scholarships of the President of Ukraine are assigned to students of higher educational institutions of Ukraine who have distinguished most in academic and scientific work. It is a symbol of high recognition of student’s scientific activity, stimulation of further productive work.

According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, academic grants of the President of Ukraine for the II semester of 2016-2017 academic year were awarded to the best students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University: D.Yu. Grunenko, Yu.O. Dubova, Yu.A. Dudukalova, K.I. Napude, D.E. Smirnov and A.I. Unik.

For the years of training, these students have proved themselves as purposeful, initiative, disciplined personalities who actively participate in International and All-Ukrainian competitions and conferences.

The master  student majoring in “Philology. Ukrainian language and literature” of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications Yulia Dubova is actively engaged in research work. Among her achievements, there is an honorable first place in the first round of the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Works Contest and II place in the 5th and 6th International Literary and Language Contests named after Taras Shevchenko. According to Yulia, the possibilities of the mind are boundless, we must constantly develop and improve ourselves.

Yulia Dudukalova, the master student of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications has awards that are a sign of International and All-Ukrainian recognition of scientific achievements. The student took an active part in International, All-Ukrainian and regional scientific events, including the International Contest “My Native Land”, VIII and IX All-Ukrainian creative competitions “Boritesya – Poborete”, ХІІІ All-Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Conference named after Viktor Uzhchenko “The Figurative word of Luhansk region.”

The master student of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy And Psychology Kateryna Napuda has publications in scientific and professional publications. The student is an active participant in university scientific and practical conferences “The First Step in Science”, the Institute’s scientific and pedagogical readings on social pedagogy. In 2016, Kateryna took the II place in the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Social Pedagogy, demonstrating a high level of training and strong psychological stability.

The fourth-year student majoring in “Ukrainian language and literature” of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications Denis Smirnov is working on the study of the problems of the art texts poetics and analysis of their figurative component. In 2015, he became a prize-winner of the Regional Contest of Students’ and Pupils’ Creativity “Compete for New Life”, won the International Contest of Students and Pupils “My Native land – 2015-2016”. Among the achievements of the student is participation in scientific conferences and readings, and Denis is a grantee of the International Charitable Foundation “Fakel”.

The master student majoring in “Philology. Ukrainian language and literature” of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications Anastasia Yunik won the International Student and Pupils Contest “My Native Land – 2016”. The student is actively engaged in research work, takes part in International and All-Ukrainian conferences and studies the history of Ukrainian and foreign literature of the twentieth century.

The 4th year student majoring in “Spanish and English Language and Literature” of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​Daria Grunenko is a fully developed personality, who has a good level of intelligence and shows interest in various fields of activity. The student took part in the IX International Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Priorities of Modern Philology: Theory and Practice”, where she made a presentation “Features of the use of euphemisms in contemporary political discourse”. Now Daria continues her scientific work and glorifies the name of the native Alma Mater.

High results of scientific activity of students of our University prove that Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University remains the leader of education in the Eastern Ukrainian region and carries out educational, research and upbringing activities guided by modern principles and the latest trends in the development of the sphere of educational services.
