Pedagogical readings took place at the Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College.
Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College hosted the events in the framework of pedagogical readings, which are traditionally held in spring. They were organized by the cycle commissions and are aimed at enhancing the scientific work of students and teachers of the College and supporting gifted student youth.
On April 12, 2017, the cycle commission of philological disciplines conducted the scientific readings on “Children’s Literature: Achievements and Prospects”. The students presented studies of the peculiarities of the creativity of Ukrainian children’s writers and the methods of studying their works in primary school.
On April 25, 2017, pedagogical readings were held on psychological and pedagogical subjects on “Pedagogical Activity and Literary Heritage of V.A. Sukhomlynsky”. Students under the scientific supervision of the college teachers covered a wide range of issues and reflected the main aspects of the great educator’s work, highlighting the features of the life and career of V.A. Sukhomlynsky, his ideas on labor education, work with the book, problems of teaching and educating preschool children and children of 6-year-old age, the value of mobile games for the physical development of schoolchildren.
On April 26, 2017, a sectional meeting was held on the topic “Actual Issues of Documentation: History and the Present.” Subjects of students’ reports covered a wide variety of aspects related to the issues of document management, records management and information technology. The greatest interest of the audience was caused by the topics devoted to the history of development and improvement of organizational techniques, the peculiarities of the profession “secretary”.
On April 27, 2017, pedagogical readings were given in English and the methods of teaching it in primary classes, entitled “Modern approaches to teaching a foreign language”. The students’ reports on the use of interactive technologies, social networks and Internet resources in the study of a foreign language received the most positive feedback and interest from students.
Present pedagogical readings were distinguished by a high level of initiative and scientific interest of students. The organizers of the events noted the best reports with Diplomas and wished the participants further success in scientific and educational activities.
