Meeting with the police

A meeting with representatives of the Starobilsk Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Luhansk region was held at the College of LTSNU.

In connection with the increase in fraud cases and with the purpose of informing the public about necessary actions in case of occurrence of such crimes, the employees of the Starobilsk Police Department visited the educational institutions of the city and met with pupils and students.

During the meeting with students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, the senior police officer V.L. Severin spoke about the threat of fraud in modern society and noted that it is necessary to be careful and vigilant. Particular attention was paid to cases of telephone crimes and ways to prevent them.

At the end of the event, the Police Department handed out information leaflets to students, and the youth thanked for the informative story. According to the Deputy Director for Educational Work of the College of LTSNU Y.N. Ivanova, meetings with the police will continue and will have positive results.
