Days of Science in the city of Kreminna

The Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports hosted the Days of Science in the city of Kreminna.

On April 20-21, within the framework of the University Days of Science and on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Institute, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Trends and Prospects for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports” for scientists and university professors was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

The Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Education and Sports Yu. M. Polulyashchenko addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

70 teachers and scientists from 12 universities of Ukraine took part in the conference: Kharkiv Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy of the Kharkiv Regional Council; Zaporizhzhya National Technical University; Sumy State A.S. Makarenko Pedagogical University; Donetsk Law Institute (Krivyi Rig), East Ukrainian Volodymyr Dahl National University (Severodonetsk), Mykolaiv Interregional Institute for Human Development; Lysychansk Pedagogical College of LTSNU; Poltava National Technical University named after Yuri Kondratyuk; College of CI “Kharkiv Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy” of the Kharkiv Regional Council; Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky; Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture; Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the secondary school of the I-III degrees No. 4 in Kreminna city.

The main issues that were discussed:

  • Modernization of the system of education and upbringing of youth on the basis of national traditions and principles;
  • Humanistic, spiritual and moral value of physical culture and sports and their place in the modern education system;
  • Medical-biological, psychological-pedagogical aspects of physical education and sports;
  • Quality of professional training of students in higher educational institutions;
  • Physical culture, fitness and recreation;
  • Modern innovative and information technologies of physical education and sports;
  • Problems of Olympic and professional sports.

The scientists noted that the conference united teachers from many regions of Ukraine. It is an important step on the way to cognition and analysis of contemporary events. According to the results of the “Days of Science” the “Bulletin of LTSNU” will be published.

This conference stimulated further scientific research of teachers in the field of “Health, Physical Education and Sports”. The Days of Science for students and master students will last until next week within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific-Practical Conference “Modern Problems of Physical Education, Health and Sports: The View of Youth”, which will be held on April 27-28, 2017.
