Online Conference

On April 18, within the framework of the University Days of Science, the online conference was held at the Department of Algebra and Systems Analysis.

Modern communication technologies make it possible to simultaneously communicate several teachers and a group of students online, which is important for discussing students’ work and promptly solving issues. The section “Mathematics and the methodology of its teaching” worked at the Department of Algebra and System Analysis.

The work of the section was opened by the opening address of the chairman, head of the Department of Algebra and System Analysis, Professor Anatolii Zhuchok. Then the scientific reports were presented by students of specialties “Mathematics”, “System analysis”, and also master students majoring in “Secondary education (Mathematics)”. The best was named the scientific report “Free Doppel Semigroups” by Olena Matievska, the 5th year student majoring in “Mathematics” (scientific adviser is Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Anatolii Zhuchok).

This online conference stimulated further scientific research of students in different branches of mathematics, as well as in the methodology of teaching mathematics, both in school and in universities.

The Department of Algebra and System Analysis wishes all participants creative inspiration for further scientific work.
