Scientific Readings

Scientific educational readings took place at the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations, Social and Political Sciences.

The Department of Political Science and Law (the head is Candidate of Political Science, Associate Professor V.I. Arkhipov) headed the days of science. A traditional annual conference was held. During the event students’ scientific readings were held. The theme of the section “Political and legal foundations of the functioning of modern society: the political and legal and historical-philosophical aspect” (the section head is Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor O.I. Bublik).

The Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations, Social and Political Sciences, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and Law Anton Bader addressed the young researchers with welcoming words. He focused on the need to study and engage in research on political issues, to shape the political culture of citizens, “in order to be not an object of politics, but an active subject.”

Representatives of the Department of World History and International Relations, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, doctoral student Olesandr V. Naboka and the postgraduate student, young lecturer, graduate of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Oleksii Altukhov made congratulations. They sincerely wished success to young researchers in hard scientific work.

The students of different areas of training took part in the work of the section, but they were united by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to understand difficult questions of theory and practice of political processes, legal regulation of social and political life.

Student reports covered various topical issues, in particular:

  • Political conflicts and crises and ways to solve them;
  • Political crises and conflicts in the world in 1893-1913 by the eyes of the Ukrainian diaspora in the United States (according to the materials of the journal “Freedom”);
  • The media as the “fourth branch of power” in the political process;
  • Science futurology as the concept of political forecasting;Weber’s scientific views in the context of the legitimization of power;
  • The historical and political aspect of the personality cult in world practice and the modern world;
  • Political and philosophical experience of Tan Xitong in the development and reform of China;
  • Actual issues of determining the activities of the State Border Service of Ukraine as a subject of law enforcement; and other topics.

The best are the research by Diana Bashkardina (specialty “History”), Karina Kostenko (specialty “International Relations”), Vitalii Skirtach (specialty “Finance and Credit”).

Valery Ladik’s (specialty “Social Pedagogy”), Yana Voronina’s (specialty “International Relations”), Anna Datsenko’s (specialty “Biology”), Asya Lisogor’s (specialty “Finance and Credit”), Olena Kuvichko’s (specialty “Laboratory diagnosis”) reports caused a lively discussion.

It is worth noting the high interest of listeners and opponents in the discussion and discussion of the speeches of young scientists. At the end of the conference students and the section head O.I. Bublik identified the scientific guidelines for the coming year and wishes to join the science to everyone.
