“Kontakt”

The second edition of the student educational newspaper “Kontakt” was published.

The second edition of “Kontakt” is timed to the anniversary celebration of the Department of Journalism and Publishing, which this year celebrates its 12th anniversary. Thanking to the joint efforts of the editorial board, the editor-in-chief and the head of the Department, senior lecturer A.O. Galych, the responsible editor, senior lecturer of the Department K.M. Ulyanova, the editor from the students M. Sikorska, the technical and artistic editor Yu. Tretyakova, as well as the author’s team of students and master students of the Department we have the second edition of the illustrated student publication.

The edition contains valuable advice from practicing students who organically combined studies with professional activities, creative biographies of the graduates of the Department, who received All-Ukrainian recognition and became the pride of their Alma Mater (Oleksandr Shelest, Yuliya Bitimerova, Kateryna Rakova, Herman Borysov, etc.). The highlight of the issue is the interview of the master student Hanna Ombodi with the former graduate of LTSNU, who now holds the post of Director of the International Federation of KUDO and the President of the Federation of KUDO of Ukraine Igor Samokhin. The national concept is embodied in the work of Marta Sikorska, who showed remarkable abilities in creating artistic and journalistic genres.

With the support of the administration of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and the joint activities of the Departments of Journalism and Publishing and Ukrainian literature, the prospect of publishing is also the resumption of the publication of the artistic and journalistic almanac “Soniashnyk”, which will enable to realize creative talents of the active young people of the Faculty. In addition, each of the planned and implemented publications is an effective base for creative and industrial student practices.
