Days of Science at the Faculty of Natural Sciences

From April 5 to 10, the Days of Science were held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The traditional annual conference took place.
Within the framework of this event, scientific readings and online conferences were held at the Departments of Biology; Ecology and Landscape Gardening; Laboratory Diagnostics, Chemistry and Biochemistry; Anatomy, Human and Animal Physiology; Geography. 67 students of the Faculty and 22 lecturers took part in the events.
The following scientific areas were covered in the reports:
- Histochemical research in the diagnosis of diseases, modern biochemical and immunological studies, the importance and role of laboratory medicine in cardiology and hematology;
- Perspective ways of development of physiological, anatomical and molecular-biological scientific directions;
- The effect of the endogenous cannabinoid system and autonomic regulation on the vascular tone;
- Pathophysiological mechanisms of violations of integrative activity of the immune system under the influence of small doses of radiation;
- Integrative activity of the immune system;
- Violation of mineral metabolism and mechanisms for the formation of functional reserves of the cardiovascular system of the body of athletes in conditions of intense physical exertion;
- Features of osmotic resistance of erythrocytes under the action of adrenoblockers;
- Modern approaches to gardening and the selection of new varieties and hybrids for urban greening;
- Variety testing of garden crops in the conditions of modern technologies of cultivation;
- Features of forestry activities in the perspective of modern conditions;
- The impact of anthropogenic pollution on the current state of the environment;
- Interactive training – the condition for the formation of key student competencies in biology lessons;
- Intersubject connections of modern school biology course;
- The current state of the flora of the northern districts of the Luhansk region;
- Urbofauna complexes of settlements in the northern Luhansk region;
- Sozological analysis of the vegetation in the north of the Luhansk region;
- Methodological aspects of teaching geography in school;
- Modern directions of development of public geography;
- Physical geography and geology.
More than 30 scientific reports of students, master students, postgraduate students and teachers were presented and discussed. It should be noted that this year there was a high interest of students. After the conference, the students actively discussed possible directions for choosing research work, and during the reports many questions were asked about different topics.
The materials of the reports will be published in the faculty collection of scientific works “Young Scientists: Hypotheses, Projects, Research” and the collection of theses of the XV All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference with the full-time and correspondence participation “Actual Questions of Biology and Medicine”, which will be held at the Department of Anatomy, Physiology of Human and Animals on May 26, 2017.
