Career Guidance Work

The Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts and the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​carried out career guidance work.

On March 21 and April 10, 2017, teachers of the Department of Fine Arts and Professional Skills including the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professors Svitlana Shpetna and Olga Kostyuk, the Head of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Svitlana Shekhavtsova and Head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Svitlana Perova met with pupils of 10-11 forms of schools in the Poltava region for the purpose of conducting career guidance work.

Among the schools were Rashevska secondary school of I – III degree, Sarska secondary school of I – III degree, Hadiach gymnasium named after Olena Pchilka, Hadiach specialized school of I – III degree No.2 named after Mykhailo Dragomanov, Hadyach specialized schools of I-III degree No.3 and No.4, Zinkovska specialized school of І-ІІІ degree No. 1 of the Zinkovsky District Council of the Poltava Region, Zinkovska specialized School of the І-ІІІ degree No.2, Velykobudishchanska secondary school of І-ІІІ degree, Dikanska gymnasium named after Mykola Gogol, Dikanska gymnasium No. 2, Stasivska gymnasium named after M. Bashkirtseva, Kremenchuk secondary schools of І-ІІІ degrees No. 2, No. 4, No. 8, No. 24, No. 12, No. 26, No. 30, No. 17, No. 31, No. 25, No. 27, Poltava Regional Specialized Boarding School of ІІ -III degrees with in-depth study of individual subjects and courses at the Kremenchuk Pedagogical College named after Anton Makarenko and the Kremenchuk Pedagogical College named after Anton Makarenko.

This event included meetings with senior pupils of secondary schools in the districts of the Poltava region and conversations with students of senior courses at the educational establishments of I-II levels of accreditation in Poltava and the region that train junior philology, pedagogy and art specialists. Meetings were held in order to inform and assist young people in choosing their future specialty in structural subdivisions in Poltava, acquaintance of future applicants with a multilevel system of education at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the opportunities for further employment after graduation.

The prompt and objective dissemination of information about the activities of our University in Poltava will contribute to the formation of a student contingent at the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and the Institute of Culture and Arts.
