The Second Round of the Olympiad

The second round of the Student Olympiad on specialty “Physical Education” was held in Kyiv.

The National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine (Kyiv) hosted the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad on specialty “Physical Education”, to which 71 students from different universities were invited.

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports Snizhana Porokhnya, Dmytro Pelipas and Valeria Gorelova took an active part in the four competitive tasks: creative competition “Advertising of the specialty of physical education” to promote the physical culture teacher and attract students in specialized high schools; the practical task “Physiological curve as an indicator of the effectiveness of the lesson of physical culture”, testing theoretical knowledge on the theory and methods of physical education and medico-biological bases of physical education; the theoretical tasks in the form of a round table “National game culture as a means of formation of pupils’ identity and patriotism” and received certificates of participants.

Among the winners was the 2nd year student (with a reduced period of training, training for 2 years), majoring in “Physical Education” Dmytro Pelipas (the scientific adviser is Associate Professor O. V. Otravenko). He also received a diploma in the nomination for the originality of the plot of the vocational guidance video.

We thank the organizing committee of the Olympiad. Students received vivid impressions of assignments, communication with friends, excursions to the National University of Physical Education and Sports and Kyiv.
