The teachers spoke about the role of motivation and self-motivation in the process of teaching and learning foreign languages. They provided useful tips for increasing the students’level of motivation.
This year two sections were presented at the conference: Philological “Linguistic Research: Directions, Prospects for Development” (the heads of the section the Ph.D., Associate Professor N.G. Koknova. During the discussionthe ways of improvingand enlarging some of the studies were proposed.
At the end the students were awarded with the certificates that confirm their participation in the conference. An important fact is that not only senior students and masters took part in the scientific conference, but also the freshmen. This suggests that the younger generation of the department is interested in the study of linguistic science and the methods of its teaching.
