“Journalistic Spring”

Traditionally, every year at the Department of Journalism and Publishing, the event devoted to its anniversary, “Journalistic Spring” takes place.

The festival attention was focused on journalism as a creative and sometimes extreme profession.

Within the framework of the event teachers of the Department, Candidates of Social Communications Sciences, Associate Professors K.N. Ul’yanova and Yu.E. Solovyova prepared for the students various competitions dedicated to the journalistic profession: “Replicas”, “The First Phrase”, “Journalistic Tale”, “Three”, “Stop-frame”, “Identification”, “Portrait of a Modern Journalist”, etc.

Throughout the program, participants of the competitions (the first-, second- and fourth-year students majoring in “Journalism”) demonstrated their originality, creativity, ingenuity, ability to navigate in a difficult life situation.

The event brought a lot of positive emotions and good mood. A friendly and cozy atmosphere, informal communication united the students, demonstrating their high professional level.

At the end of the event, the chairman of the jury L.L. Kolesnikova awarded participants of the teams with diplomas in the nominations “Creativity”, “Originality”, “Inventiveness”.
