“The Future of the Forest is in your Hands”

The students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences joined the action “The future of the forest in your hands”.

The forest not only gives life, but also writes its history. One should only be able to listen to a kind of symphony of the noise of trees, and it will tell many interesting things.

Annually in spring on the territory of Ukraine, at the initiative of the State Forestry Agency of Ukraine, there is a worldwide action “The future of the forest in your hands”.

The students and teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences decided to support this action. They planted pine in the Starobilsk forestry hunting farm together with foresters.

“This is not the first time we help forestry to plant trees. A large, green tree has long symbolized prosperity, health and love. Therefore, the best way to show these feelings to family and friends is to plant a tree together. You can plant a seedling with the whole family, a university group or a group of friends. Our faculty always gladly joins such actions and helps the Starobilsk forest-hunting farm,” – the 1-year student majoring in “Biology” Olena Glushchenko tells.

This action is designed to stand guard over the life of nature and the person who is its component. We hope that holding such actions will contribute to not only increasing forest areas, but also the ecological awareness and awareness of the forest and forestry sector among our students will increase.
