“League of Amateurs – 2017”

Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the power extreme competitions for the Cup of the Luhansk region.
In the sports club “7Ya” (Starobilsk city), the regional power extreme competitions took place, in which athletes from nine cities and regional centers (Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Kreminna, Novoaydar, Novopskov, Svatovo, Schastia, an athlete from Ternopil, who now is serving in the city of Starobilsk, and the host team of the tournament participated.
The organizers of the event are the Department for Youth and Sports of Luhansk Regional State Administration, the Federation of Power Sports of the Luhansk region, the FSK LD “SPARTAK”, the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of LTSNU, as well as representatives of the “7Ya” sports club Oleksandr and Dmytro Lukyanenko, who tried to do everything possible to hold a holiday of power.
The competitions were solemnly opened by the guests and friends of the Federation from the Department for Youth and Sports of Luhansk Regional State Administration Vitalii Butov and Oleksii Blestkin, the chairman of the regional FSK LD “SPARTAK” Oleksii Polulyashchenko, and also the Member of the board of the regional organization of the National Union of Local History of Ukraine Dmytro Lukyanenko.
The jury consisted of the master of sports of Ukraine of international class, numerous prize-winner and world champion, champion of Europe, Ukraine, the owner of more than 40 records of Ukraine, member of the national powerlifting team, the coach of the Rubizhne Youth School Mykola Barannik; the coach from Severodonetsk, the master of sports of Ukraine Dmytro Lobakov, as well as the current athlete, the coach of Starobilsk Sports Powerlifting School Volodymyr Dubovy.
At the tournament, our students had strong support and motivation, the atmosphere in the hall was charged with adrenaline, strong support was felt for the fans and guests of the tournament.
Everything went well and dignified, amateurs took part in the tournament. These are representatives of various sports: powerlifting, arm-wrestling, weightlifting. It is very important for the development of sports in the region is the holding of such tournaments.
A huge gratitude to all participants of the event. In accordance with the schedule, soon it will be the second stage of the “Amateur League 2017”.
As a result of the competition, the places were distributed as follows:
Power Extreme Cup “Amateur League 2017”:
Category up to 90 kg
- 1st place – Maksym Ryabukhin (Severodonetsk city, the coach is Dmytro Lobakov);
- 2nd place – Evgen Ripa (Svatove city, trains on his own);
- 3rd place – Oleksandr Nametiv (Rubizhne city, the coach is Viktor Urban).
Category up to 105 kg
- 1st place – Serhii Malyuk (Varvarivka village, the coach is Viktor Urban).
Category above 105 kg
- 1st place – Oleksandr Dubovy (Kreminna city, the teacher of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports);
- 2nd place – Gennadii Serdyuk (Novoaidar settlement);
- 3rd place – Serhii Makukha (Starobilsk city).
As part of the competition, athletes also competed in the grip strength “Iron grip” – Armlifting
Women, absolute weight category:
- 1st place – Diana Perebynis (Starobilsk city);
- 2nd place – Daria Sypakova (Severodonetsk city);
- 3rd place – Viktoria Goroshko (Starobilsk city).
Men, category up to 90 kg
- 1st place – Evgen Ripa (Svatove city);
- 2nd place – Oleksandr Baskov (Novopskov settlement);
- 3rd place – Dmytro Lukyanenko (Starobilsk city).
Category over 90 kg
- 1st place – Andrii Grybiv (Novoaidar settlement);
- 2nd place – Gennadii Serdyuk (Novoaidar settlement);
- 3rd place – Serhii Lebid (Starobilsk city).
Also the commemorative certificate was awarded to the youngest participant of the tournament (11 years) – Oleksandr Goroshko (result is 25 kg).
The athletes were awarded with medals of the Department for Youth and Sports of Luhansk Regional State Administration, exclusive certificates from the AFRC and sports nutrition from POWER PRO Company.
Within the framework of the tournament, the Presidium of the Federation and its partners was held, where they discussed the following stages of the Power Extreme Cup “Amateur League 2017”.
Summing up the competition, the participants noted the following: “The one who does nothing is not mistaken”, the athletes showed a high level and worthy results.
All participants received calendars and booklets of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
Soon, the stages of the “Amateur League” will be held in the cities and regional centers of our region.
