The First Round of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad

The first round of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in social pedagogy was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University on February 4 – 5.
The Olympiad was held at the premises of Starobilsk faculty of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and was opened by the head of jury – doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, head of the Department of Social Pedagogy Serhii Yakovych Kharchenko; director of Starobilsk faculty, candidate of historical sciences, docent Mykolai Tymofiiovych Vykhvatenko and director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Olena Leonidivna Karaman.
Candidate of pedagogical sciences, docent of the Department of Social Pedagogy Nataliia Pavlivna Krasnova told about Olympiad program which included:
- Creativity competition “My profession is a social pedagogue”.
- Written task to define student’s knowledge level in theory and methods of social pedagogy which consisted of theoretical, practical and testing tasks.
The II-IV year students of “Social Pedagogy” specialty of Starobilsk faculty took part in the Olympiad. The I year students supported the participants.
The Olympiad results and winners award will be on Monday, February 9.
The prizewinners of the first round of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in social pedagogy will take part in the second round on April 20 – 23, 2015 at Zaporizhzhya National University.
