Changes to Educational Process at Luhansk University
5.2.2015
University rectorate informed about changes to the educational process at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
“During the last half year our university has been working in the mode of combining remote and classroom-based education. The teaching staff keeps working on improvement of educational courses. Since the second semester we have made some changes to the management of remote education to improve training quality. In particular the educational process is switched to weekly scheduling”, — the prorector for scientific and pedagogical work of LNU Dmytro Uzhchenko told.
Such novations will allow to involve students to the educational process constantly. So called setting sessions will be held every month in Starobilsk during which the teachers will hold consultations and classroom-based lessons. The rest time the training will be performed at the remote platform. The lectures, seminars and practical lessons will be updated every week.
These changes will make students’ and teachers’ lives easier. Now you can’t “put off till tomorrow what you can do today”. There will be the deadline for the task on the website of remote education and it is impossible to perform the task after this designated time. Thus the exams and tests will be marked not during one week but gradually. That means that the educational process is close to that one which was before the university evacuation and will allow quality training.
