Meeting with a musician

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Economy and Business and the Faculty of Natural Sciences met with the bard Oleksandr Popov.

The meeting, which took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, joined students in the pursuit of knowledge of the art. O.I. Popov is the author and performer of songs, the subjects of which impress by their diversity. The artist’s heritage has songs about love and patriotism, as well as the tragic events in the east of Ukraine and exploit of heroes-defenders.

According to Oleksandr Ivanovych, he began to write music about 30 years ago. The inspiration for the author were poems of the famous poet Borys Pasternak. Since that time, the singer began creative activity. Now he is still optimistic and happy to demonstrate his talent to young people.

Students of LTSNU listened to the musical compositions, as well as the well-known hits performed by O.I. Popov, and enjoyed the incredible creative atmosphere. Songs caused a real delight, made think about the problems that concern every Ukrainian.

A special place in the work of the musician take the songs dedicated to the native land and the events in the East of Ukraine. The bard supports ATO members, performs for the defenders near the line of contact. Also the singer repeatedly demonstrates his own talent during the festive events in Starobilsk.

The meeting with the bard gave students an opportunity to enjoy musical compositions, communicate in a relaxed atmosphere and feel the beauty and melody of this art.
