Participation in the Futsal Tournament

The team of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the Regional Futsal Tournament.

On March 19, the Regional Futsal Tournament among teams of municipal enterprises, institutions and organizations took place in the sports complex “Olimp” in the city of Kreminna. Eleven teams took part in the competitions, among which was the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

The tournament consisted of group, semifinal and final stages. Our football players confidently took the first place in their group, having beaten the team “Struggle”, “Sportinternat” and “Technology”. In the semifinal, the Institute defeated the team of the “Pinta” enterprise with a score of 7:2. Unfortunately, in the final confrontation of “Institute” – “Police” the players of the district division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine were stronger and won with a score of 4:2.

So, we congratulate our team on awarding with silver medals, as well as on the separate award “The Best Player”. According to the decision of the jury, this title was awarded to the first-year student of the group “Physical Education” Oleksandr Zhurba.
