“Modern Educational Establishments – 2017”

Representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the Eighth International Exhibition “Modern Educational Establishments – 2017”.

On March 16, the opening of the main educational event of Ukraine – the Eighth International Exhibition “Modern Educational Establishments – 2017” and the Fifth International Exhibition of Foreign Educational Institutions “World Edu -2017” took place at the Kiev Palace of Children and Youth.

The exhibition unites the participants of the educational process in search of effective ways to improve the quality of national education, the development of international educational, scientific and technical projects and provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and opinions, contacts and lay the foundation for further cooperation.

The future applicants have a unique opportunity to learn about the peculiarities of admission to educational institutions, choice of future profession, bachelor’s and master’s programs, preparatory university courses, and specifics of receiving education in Ukraine and abroad.

Honorary guests were present at the opening ceremony, namely: People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Chairman of the Supervisory Council of LTSNU Vitalii S. Kurylo, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl G. Kremin, the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Education of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education Taras D. Kremin and the Director of the company “Exhibition World” Svitlana V. Rudko.

Taras Kremin congratulated participants of the exhibition and wished them successful work, fruitful cooperation and new achievements, and read out a welcome letter from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A.V. Parubii.

Vasyl Kremin congratulated participants of the conference on behalf of NAPS of Ukraine. He noted that in order to be a successful nation we need to form a competitive personality, respect education and educators.

Vitalii S. Kurylo gave a speech to the educators. He thanked the organizers of the exhibition for giving the opportunity to higher educational institutions to show their achievements. “Despite the difficult conditions of evacuation, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a regular participant of the exhibition. It is thanks to such activities the universities have the opportunity to represent high-quality national education,” – the academician noted.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was represented by a delegation consisting of the Chairman of the Supervisory Council V.S. Kurylo, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology O.L. Karaman, head of the Educational and Methodical Department M.A. Semenov, head of the Marketing Department I.O. Lysenko, Director of Lysychansk Pedagogical College of LTSNU G.M. Minenko, Director of Bryanka ​​College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University M.S. Sapijak.

The exhibition will last 3 days, during which a substantial thematic program will be held, including conferences, presentations, seminars, round tables, master classes, workshops, open lessons, panel discussions with the participation of directors and leading scientists of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, leaders and specialists of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Institute for Modernization of Education Content of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, state authorities and administration, practical workers in the education sector, representatives of foreign educational institutions and international missions, parents, pupils, students and the general public.

The exhibition hosted a rating exhibition competition with the awarding of the Grand Prix in nominations “Leader of Higher Education”, “Leader of Postgraduate Education”, “Leader of International Activities”, “Leader of Scientific and Technical Activity”, “Leader of Vocational Education”, as well as competitions in thematic nominations with the awarding of gold, silver and bronze medals and the presentation of the Certificate “Quality of Scientific Publications” according to the rating of the international scientometric database Scopus.

Three projects were submitted for participation in the contest:

• “Technology of social and educational work with juvenile convicts in special educational institutions”;
• “Organization of the educational process of the University in conditions of evacuation”;
• “Innovative approaches in educational institutions in the process of personality formation and education of a citizen-patriot”.

According to the results of competitive selection, the University received gold medals for two projects in the thematic nominations “Modern Socio-Psychological and Pedagogical Technologies for Supporting Children and Adults in a Crisis Situation” and “Innovative Approaches in Educational Institutions in the Process of Forming the Personality and Education of a Citizen-Patriot”.  In addition, our University received a Certificate “Quality of Scientific Publications” on the rating of the international scientometric database Scopus.

The teacher of Bryanka ​​College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Olga V. Vishchenko conducted a master class “Creation of a fantasy image using pastes and elements of body art”.

In the rating exhibition competition, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was awarded with the Grand Prix Diploma “Leader of Higher Education”.
