All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Mathematics

All-Ukrainian olympiad in mathematics among the students of higher educational establishments was held on January 28.
The Ist stage of the competition was organized by the Department of Algebra and System Analysis of LNU. The students and magistrands of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Informational Technologies who study math were invited to participate. About 20 university students of the I-V courses took part.
The students were suggested to explore solving tasks in algebra and numbers theory, geometrics, mathematical analysis and theory of probability.
The results of participation of IPMIT students in the mathematical olympiad are following:
- Tetiana Bakhmet, 5 M (II place);
- Anzhelika Bielikova, 3 M (III place);
- Tetiana Romanchenko, Mag (III place).
