Participation in the work of the creative group on updating the curriculum on labor training in secondary schools.

From February 27  to March 3, 2017 in the city of Slavuta, Khmelnytsky region, the creative group gathered to work on updating the curriculum on labor training for 5-9 forms. The composition of this group included the head of the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education, Associate Professor Viktor V. Burdun.

During the work of the group, the guidelines for updating the program of labor training in secondary schools were determined and the competent potential of the subject was discussed. The group also processed the proposals of Ukrainian teachers, which were proposed during the discussion of the program on the EdEra platform.

Based on the results of the analysis of proposals, changes were made in the content of the training material – more than 30 topics of the program. The content of the curriculum was adapted in accordance with certain and expected educational and cognitive results. The training material for cross-section content lines, proposed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the framework of secondary education reform, was also determined.
