Teachers and staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University were awarded with honorary titles.
Being a teacher of LTSNU is a big responsibility, because a teacher daily passes to students not only knowledge, but also develops the best human qualities. Here the best teachers work, who are committed to the development of education; they are the gold fund, support and pride of the Luhansk region of Ukraine.
On the occasion of 96 th anniversary of foundation of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University it was decided to assign honors and awards to teachers and staff for their hard work and contribution to the development of national education.
The title of “Honorary Professor of LTSNU” is a symbol of recognition, authority of scientists and gratitude for the significant contribution to the development of education at the University and Ukraine. This year, the honorary title was awarded to Professor of the Department of World History and International Relations V.G. Kryukov; Head of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education N.I. Chervyakova and Associate Professor of the Department of Geography O.O. Kiseleva. Each of them is an example of perseverance and indefatigable work, thereby achieved considerable success and scientific achievements.
Victor G. Kryukov is the authoritative scholar, recognized at the All-Ukrainian level. He has gone from the assistant driver of the boiler shop to the Doctor of Historical Sciences. He has not lost optimism and thirst of scientific research. The orientalist, world-renowned Wolf Mendelevich Baylis played an important role in the professional development of the teacher. According to Victor Grigorievych our educational establishment is unique because outstanding professionals are working in it. “A scientist without work is like a cloud without water,” – the scientist said, addressing to his students.
The real expert in the field of education is Natalia I. Chervyakova – Head of Department of Pre-School and Primary Education. Having got education in Voroshilovgrad Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical Institute, she began her scientific way, tirelessly working on the formation of generations of professionals able to meet pressing educational problems. The teachers has 78 publications; five PhD theses were defended under her guidance.
According to Natalia Ivanovna, in her professional development mentors played a significant role, including G.P. Shevchenko, Y.I. Risovany, A.Y. Savchenko and support of the family and colleagues. The teacher is full of the desire to create and work in depth, but sometimes she has not enough time for the implementation of plans and ideas. “The formula of successful scientific activity is simple – it is necessary to know your discipline and love your students”. – Natalia I. Chervyakova noted.
An example of tireless work and devotion to the native Alma Mater is Oktiabrina O. Kiseleva, who has been working at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University for 48 years. Her scientific heritage includes 160 publications, among the achievements of the teacher is the title “Excellence in Education of Ukraine”, Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The honorary university employees also received their awards.
The title of “Honorary Worker of LTSNU” was awarded to the chief mechanical engineer of the administrative and economic part Y.P. Shelyakin and PhD, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization V.P. Moroz.
Yuri P. Shelyakin started working at the University since 1997. He have held the position of the driver of first class for 17 years. Since 2014, he became the chief mechanical engineer of the administrative and economic part of the University. Yuri Petrovych is a respected and well-deserved person, his diligence and exactingness harmoniously combines with a sincere respect for people.
Volodymyr P. Moroz began his career at the University with the position of the instructor for the youth in the Trade Union Organization of Students, and headed it in 1997. From 2015 to the present time – the Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of LTSNU. Volodymyr Petrovych dedicated 20 years of his activity to the development of the trade union movement in the native university. He leads an active social life, passing his experience to younger colleagues and students.
The Head of the Department of Ukrainian Philology and General Linguistics, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Honorary Professor of LTSNU K.D. Gluhovtseva, the leading specialist of the Department of Postgraduate Studies L.P. Zelenska and Associate Professor of the Department of World History and International Relations, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor A.V. Naboka were awarded with the “Honorary Diploma of LTSNU” for conscientious work, high professionalism, high quality training, personal contribution to the development of national education, outstanding achievements in the organization of educational activities.
