Festive Concert to the 96th Anniversary

Today the festive concert dedicated to the University Day took place at LTSNU.

This year, our Alma Mater celebrated 96 years since its foundation. This date is worthy of respect and honor, because for almost a century our university has been educated not only qualified specialists, but also true patriots of their state. Over the years, the University suffered a lot, including emergency evacuation in Starobilsk, where the University celebrates its birthday for the third year in a row.

On this occasion, the University held a festive concert, which was attended by teachers and students of LNU. It began with the song “Get up, Ukraine”, which is still relevant and is known all over Ukraine. “We went through an incredible trial but remained the most loyal, the most courageous, reliable. Today we can say with confidence that serious challenges make us stronger and united. Together we will overcome all difficulties and hardships, we have a common goal: to make our University even better, even stronger”, – the emcee of the concert said.

On this day the singers Nadiya Vepritska, Serhii Sergienko, Artem Popov, Natalia Chernyha, Natalia Zadorozhna, Vladislav Teterev, Valeria Kalinichenko and others pleased with their performances. They impressed the audience by their talent and sincerity. Also the master student of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts, winner of the International Competition of Youth Culture in 2016 in Poland Volodymyr Radchenko performed on the university scene.

Today, the audience heard the words of thanks to scientists, teachers, employees, who daily apply considerable efforts for the benefit of the native university. Students thanked them for their tireless work and creative search, wished them peace, prosperity, good mood and inspiration.

Neither the university concert is held without the participation of the choreographic group “Inspiration”. Today they joined to the congratulations, and their incendiary dance compositions raised the mood of the audience.

A pleasant surprise for all those present was the performance of the song and dance ensemble “Patrol”. Artists began their speech with congratulations and wished all the employees and students of the University success, prosperity and achievements of new heights.

From the first minutes of the band’s performance, the crowded hall “exploded” with stormy applause. The band played their biggest hits, with which they have already performed on our stage, as well as presented several new songs.

The final of the concert was the “Song of the University,” which has traditionally been sounded at all the events and became the anthem of our University.

Therefore, Luhansk National University celebrated its 96th anniversary in a solemn, fun and creative atmosphere. And despite all the difficulties of our stay in the forced evacuation the University continues to develop and live a full life.
