The III Stage of the All-Ukrainian Biological Olympiad

The III stage of the All-Ukrainian Biological Olympiad among the pupils of Luhansk region was held in Starobilsk on January 31, 2015.

The Olympiad participants were met by the leading teachers of the Departments of Biology and Ecology of Faculty of Natural Sciences who told the students about traditions, educational and scientific activity of one of the oldest educational establishments of Eastern Ukraine.

The Olympiad was participated by the pupils of the 8 – 11 grades of schools, lyceums, gymnasiums and educative complexes of Luhansk region. The set of tasks included enclosed type tasks (“tests”) of “A”, “Б” and “B” groups like in the IV stage of Olympiad and theoretical tasks with experiments. The head of jury – the Head of the Department of Biology N.Yu. Matsai – noted the high level of pupils knowledge and their desire to enter Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
