Prize-Winning Places

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took the prize-winning places in the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the field of “Physical Education and Sports.”

On 22-23 February, according to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “On the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in natural, technical and humanitarian sciences in the academic year 2016-2017” was held the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the field of “Physical Education and Sports” at Sumy State A.S. Makarenko Pedagogical University.

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of LTSNU actively participated. For example, the fifth-year student majoring in Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” Snizhana Porokhnya took the 3rd place on the topic of the research paper “Features of selection and development of high-speed abilities of young sprinters” (scientific adviser – Associate Professor O.V. Otravenko).

The second-year student (with a reduced training period, training period is 2 years, specialty “Physical Education”) Dmytro Pelipas won the diploma in the nomination “The Relevance of Research” on the topic “Formation of patriotism of the senior teenagers in the extracurricular activities in physical education” (scientific adviser –  Associate Professor O.V. Otravenko).
