The first-year student of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports won a prize place in the Ukrainian Athletics Championship.

From 12 to February 14, 2017 in the city of Sumy was held the Ukrainian Athletics Championship, which took place in the athletics arena of Sumy State University.

The first-year student majoring in “Physical Education and Sports. Sports” of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports Bohdana Semenova competed among juniors born in 1998-1999.  Bohdana received a silver medal with a personal record – 7.02 at the distance of 2000 meters steeplechase.

The next day, our athlete performed in the age group of adults and young people born in 1995. At this time, Bohdana showed good results at the distance of 3000 meters, where she also set a personal record – 10.28, thus received a bronze medal.
