The University hosted a presentation of the project “School of a young leader: the ability and skills to build a civil society in the realities of a small city.”

Active youth, which is able to think objectively and aspires to self-realization, is the key to successful development of the state and joining it as a political leader in the international arena. The future of our country depends on the perseverance, dedication of the young generation, training of which is the leading challenge in today’s realities.

Within the framework of the project “Ukrainian Regional Social Initiatives Platform”, while the European Union financial support and with the assistance of State Institution ” Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, the Luhansk Regional Public Organization “Public Initiative of Luhansk Region” and the initiative group “Public Education” organized a presentation of the project “School of a young leader: the ability and skills to build a civil society in the realities of a small city.”

The main purpose of the organizers is the formation of an active civic stand for self-realization in the conditions of change among youth of Starobilsk, which is able to apply this knowledge in their daily activities and is willing to initiate changes in their community.

The school consists of six modules, during which participants will learn about mechanisms of public associations, features of the team formation, will have the skills of the organization of active dialogue, and develop their own projects for the competition. After training, the winners will go to Kyiv, where they will visit community organizations and meet with the People’s Deputies.

Everyone can take part in the project “School of a young leader: the ability and skills to build a civil society in the realities of the small city” and show activity, purposefulness and perseverance. If you want to participate, you should complete the questionnaire until March 15.

Successful representation of the country at the international level is possible due to the activity and commitment of its citizens, the acquisition of skills to build a European society in today’s realities. The project “School of a Young Leader” will allow participants to realize themselves in new activities and create their own platform for the construction and development of the city.
