Students and teachers of LTSNU celebrated Valentine’s Day.

Socially active student youth is the engine of the future development of the country, its formation as a powerful political center in the international arena. Students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University make efforts for the development of scientific potential of the institution and actively participate in cultural and educational activities, praising the name of the native Alma Mater.

A characteristic feature of the young vigorous personalities is a thirst for active life, hobbies, the intensity of feelings and emotions. Romantic and love, which are always inherent in the young men, raged today at our University. Students of LTSNU joined the celebration of Valentine’s Day.

The holiday for lovers united the international community, inspiring real actions that contribute to positive changes in society. LTSNU College students, who before the training sessions presented cards, creating an unmatched atmosphere of unity in the institution, started the festive day.

Members of the student government of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University actively participated in preparation for the holiday. They with the support of the Center of Culture and Leisure and the Primary Trade Union Organization generated their own ideas, creative contests and drawings. During the day, the post office of Saint Valentine worked, through which students had the opportunity to express their feelings and to send a card to friends and loved ones.

Mindful of the courage and heroism of the defenders of the Ukrainian state, students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences held an action in which staff and students of the University expressed their wishes to the military.

The real apogee of the holiday was the concert-competition program, at the beginning of which the chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of LTSNU V.P. Moroz congratulated all those present and wished passion and stressed that love unites generations and removes obstacles.

The student community entertained by rousing song-compositions, passionate choreographic, declaring poetry and fun games. The dancing “Eighth Color” and “Plive Choven” did not leave anyone indifferent and especially the audience inspired by the song “Ти підпалила рай” and the memorable poem by Eduard Asadov.

At the end of the concert, the audience saw the incredible fire show, which was attended by students of LTSNU. The spectacular dances with fire kindled passion and feelings in the hearts of those present. At the end of the holiday, the student youth united in a large circle of friends and let red lanterns go into the sky as a symbol of romanticism and passion.

The holiday for lovers united student youth of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Representatives of structural divisions of the institution joined the celebration, having proved themselves as an active youth who are able to develop the European future of our state.
