Successful Completion of the Project

The university teachers received a certificate of successful completion of the project in the framework of the “Leadership Development Programme.”

The Leadership Development Programme of Ukrainian universities takes place with the support of the British Council in Ukraine, the Institute of Higher Education of the NPSA of Ukraine and the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education. During the year, teachers of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University developed the project “Building a European university – the leader of the regional development and education in the East of Ukraine, an active participant in promoting the process of stopping the conflict,” which provides for the development of the region, combating the information warfare, integrated research and finding ways to post-conflict development.

Within the project, the teachers took part in the sessions of the Leadership Foundation, Future leaders and the conference “Modern University Embracing Change”, which was held at the University of Cambridge. This allowed realizing the ways of transformation of the objective difficulties of the displaced University into advantages and use reserves of the leadership potential and teamwork to overcome the severe challenges and gain influence on the development of the region.

February 8, Kyiv hosted the final report on the implementation of the project. During the ceremony, teachers of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received a certificate of successful completion of the project and were included in the project of the Alumni Association.

Participation in the Leadership Development Programme of Ukrainian universities opens up wide possibilities for the formation of a new culture of teamwork and management approaches in the educational institution, as well as the willingness of the university team to change.
