Prize-Winners of the Ukrainian Championship

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports are medalists of the Ukrainian Championship.

Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship of Ukraine and the selection of the national team to the European Championship were held in Kharkiv on February 2-4. Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of LTSNU Arthur Politayev (2nd year) and Vasyl Symonenko (5th year) participated in the competition and won prizes.

So, Arthur Politayev in the weight category up to 71 kg won the gold medal and confidently won a ticket to the European Championships. Vasyl Symonenko (specialty “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”) won the third place in the weight category up to 66 kg and won a place in the national team of Ukraine.
