Cup of Ukraine – 2017

The first-year student of LTSNU took part in the first in this year’s national weightlifting competition – Cup of Ukraine – 2017.
The first-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports, Sports” of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Bohdan Buryachek participated in the competition, which took place in Chernihiv from February 1 to 4, 2017. Among adults in the weight category up to 90 kg, Bohdan took the fifth place with a score of 358 kg in two exercises (157 kg in the clean and jerk and 201 kg in the snatch).
Despite the fact that Bohdan has not got to the podium, he and his coach are satisfied with the results. Because it is the first tournament, where our sportsman was the youngest participant and he had to compete with the much more experienced and titled players.
We congratulate Bohdan with a good performance and wish him further victories!
