Students of LTSNU are winners of the regional stage of the Literary Contest.

On February 4 at the Severodonetsk secondary school No. 14 were awarded the winners of the regional stage of the VII International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literary Contest among pupils and students.

The aim of the Contest is promotion of the Ukrainian language and literature among pupils and students in Luhansk region, promotion of creativity of Taras Shevchenko among pupils of secondary schools and students of vocational and technical schools and higher education institutions, the determination of the best experts on creativity of Taras Shevchenko among schools and universities of Luhansk region.

The first-year student of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications majoring in “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)” Anastasia Y. Gorban was awarded with the Diploma of II degree.

The first-year student of Magistracy of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications majoring in “Philology. Ukrainian Language and Literature” Yulia O. Dubova received the Diploma of I degree (humanities).

The first-year student of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications majoring in “Journalism” Olena V. Smitanina was awarded with the Diploma of I degree (non-humanitarian areas).

The teaching staff of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications of LTSNU congratulates its students on the victory and wish them new successes.

On the same day, the winners of the regional stage took part in the final round of the VII International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literary Contest in the Luhansk region.
