Safer Internet Day

On February 7, the world celebrates Safer Internet Day.
At the present stage of development of society, a greater role acquire information technologies that contribute to the unity of the people even if their geographical remoteness. The World Network is a part of everyday life for millions of people, which is also a medium for communication, entertainment and education.
In order to unite efforts of the state and the public in the search of safe ways of using the Internet, discussion of Internet ethics and promotion of mechanisms for the safe operation of the world network February 7, 2017 is Safer Internet Day, which will be held under the slogan “Be the change: Unite for a better Internet”. This festival brings together citizens of many countries in the fight against the dangers of the web. People take part in the events dedicated to the idea of responsible use of online technology and mobile devices.
To reduce the negative impact of unwanted information products by improving the awareness of children and youth on safe Internet, providing online technologies and responsible use of mobile devices on February 8, 2017 will be held All-Ukrainian webinars:
- from 10.00 to 10.30 – for senior pupils “How to Make the Internet Safe”;
- from 10.45 to 11.30 for parents and teachers “Safe Internet”.
