Athletes of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the action “22 Push-Up Challenge” in the city of Kreminna.
So, February 3, heads of the district, staff of the Administration, the District Council, law enforcement officers, military personnel, athletes and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports under the leadership of the Director Yuri M. Polulyaschenko gathered at the stadium “Olympus” in the city of Kreminna.
Participants of the flash mob did push-ups 22 times and passed the baton to the west of Ukraine – Lviv region.
In Ukraine, the action “22 Push-Up Challenge” became a mass phenomenon from the middle of January 2017. Its idea is to support the fighters – combatants with PTSD, who had participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
Participants of the flash mob try to draw public attention to the problems faced by the defenders after the return to civilian life.
