The Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications held an organizational meeting of students.
Formation of a strong student body, capable by its achievements to enhance the prestige of the university as an educational institution, is an important task in today’s realities. The organizational meetings play an important role in increasing the level of social responsibility and strengthening the relationship between the student youth and the educational institution administration.
At the beginning of the event, the chairman of the student government of the Faculty Marina Chumakova addressed to the audience, congratulated the youth on the new academic semester and wished inspiration and success in their studies. She spoke about the urgent problems that require solutions. Students chose candidates for the election of the President of the Student Government of the University, and discussed a number of important organizational issues.
Among the important decisions taken by the students, was the election of Kateryna Suharevska as a Secretary of the Faculty Student Government that will strengthen its work.
The Deputy Dean for Educational Work L.L. Kolesnikova told about the features of the appointment of academic scholarships and the organization of the educational process in the second semester of the academic year 2016 – 2017. She noted that quality education is a requirement of time, and active participation in scientific activities not only increases the prestige of the University, but also contributes to the professional development of students.
The Deputy Dean for Social and Humanitarian Work N.N. Karlova held a briefing on safety and security of life and emphasized the need for compliance with sanitary and hygienic conditions in the lecture rooms during the learning process, and the living rooms of the hostel. She described the purpose of social grants and urged the students to pay attention to the scientific and social activities.
During the organizational meetings, students discussed important issues of the organization of leisure activities and aspects of the self-government, which will strengthen the educational process.
