30.1.2017
There was the defense of creative and master research works in the specialties “Fine Arts” and “Decorative Arts”.
The presentation of creative works and the defense of research works of master students of the Department of Fine Arts and Professional Skills of the Institute of Culture and Arts took place in the big hall of the Poltava Art Museum (Art Gallery) named after Mykola Yaroshenko. Students, teachers and everyone were invited to the open event to touch the wonderful world of art and to support the future graduates.
Young artists of fine and decorative arts demonstrated a high level of theoretical and practical training. Among the most interesting for the audience works were decorative ceramic dishes “Flower Lace” by Alina Ignatieva made in the technique of glaze painting; plaster fragments of interior decoration in the refectory of the church by Roman Savchenko; seascape “Winter Wind” by Ksenia Kubyshka; volume-spatial composition of the exhibition nature – romantic sculpture “Wind” by Oleksandr Ksenza.
The painting “Confrontation” by Oleksandr Plish is filled with the inner philosophical content. The triptych “Walk Through the Void” by Margarita Romanenko (the representative of Poltava contemporary art) surprised by a riot of colors.
In addition to the high professional level of works of fine and decorative arts, graduates showed an appropriate level of research abilities in the defense of master’s theses.
Highly practical and theoretical work of graduates majoring in fine and decorative arts became a good example for the junior students.
