A Meeting of the Student Government

The College of LTSNU hosted a meeting of the Student Government, dedicated to the Ukrainian Unity Day.
Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University honors celebration of unity and recalls the heroes who made efforts for freedom in Ukraine, realizing that today’s youth have the honor to build a bright future of our country.
On the eve of the festive events, the College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hosted an event that united loyal patriots – teachers and students of the structural subdivision. With a purpose of promoting a high political culture in the society, education of patriotism among young people, respect for the historical past of the Ukrainian people, honoring the memory of those who died for the country’s independence, was held a solemn meeting of the Student Government of the College of LTSNU.
The participants acquainted with the historical events that took place on January 22, 1919 in Kyiv. Each participant had the opportunity to express his own opinion concerning the past and the future of our people. The college teachers were assured that the student fraternity would create the happy future!
The highlight of the event was the documentary film. The chairman of the cultural sector Valeria Chepiga prepared a literary story of the solemn celebration of unification of the UPR and WUPR, which caused a feeling of joy and pride for our people, who in spite of external factors could combine the majority of ethnic Ukrainian lands into a single state.
The participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the bright countless sacrifices for centuries the Ukrainian people on the altar of independence and statehood of catholicity.
The Meeting of the Student Government united student community is a sense of the spirit of unity, that is extremely important in today’s realities. We are all part of one big family – Ukraine. When we are united, we are invincible, – the students of the College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University assured.
