Defense of the thesis

The senior lecturer of Romance and Germanic Philology Department defended of the thesis on December, 29.
The staff of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the of Romance and Germanic Philology Department congratulate Bindas Elena N., the senior teacher of the Romance and Germanic Philology Department with a brilliant defense of a thesis, which took place on December 29, 2016 at 11:00 on the meeting of the Dissertation Council D 44.053.01 in Poltava National Pedagogical University V.G. Korolenko, оn specialty 13.00.04 – Theory and Methods of Professional Education.
During the meeting there were presented the results of Bindas Elena N.’s research “Professional Training of Foreign Languages Teachers of Master’s Level at University Colleges of Teacher Education in Austria ” (supervisor: doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Khomich Lidiya, Institute of Education and Adult Education of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Deputy Director research, official opponents: doctor of Education, professor Ogienko Helena, Sumy State pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko, professor of pedagogy, PhD, Associate professor Martynyuk Elena, Khmelnytsky national University, assistant professor of the practice of a foreign language and methodology teaching.
The research reveals the state of academic mobility in foreign languages teachers training in Austria and in Europe. The comparative analysis of Ukrainian and Austrian experience in professional training of foreign languages teachers of Master’s level highlights the promising first-hand ideas of the Austrian system of teacher training, its achievements and aspirations.
In conclusion the author has identified the ways and formulated the set of recommendations of using the progressive ideas of Austrian positive experience in effective training of modern foreign languages teachers. Their implementation in the system of life-long education of Ukraine is exhorted to contribute to the improvement of the national educational system, to update its research constituent and ameliorate the quality of modern Ukrainian teacher training education.
